After battling debilitating illnesses that left her out of the spotlight, Toni Braxton is looking to regain her status in the industry by turning to her mother, Evelyn, and her sisters: Traci, "The Underdog"; Towanda, "Mrs. Congeniality"; Trina, "The Wildcard"; and Tamar, "Baby." As Traci dreams of rejoining her famous sister on stage as a background singer, Tamar wants nothing to do with the background. Peter Thurston and Katerina Micanova - Vocals Goce Micanov - Soprano,Alto,Tenor Saxophone,Piano,Keyboards,Bass,Producer Zoran Mihajlov - Guitar Arranger and Producer on ''At Last'' - Dejan Georgievski - Dzene Recorded at Dzene Studio,Delcevo,Macedonia April/May 2004 MY CD's - INTRO & SECCUNDO by Peter Thurston smooth 16.06.2008, changed 20.10.2008 After finding we had a mutual taste in music, we decided to make an album featuring some old classic songs arranged in the band's own style. The recording took place in the mountains of Macedonia close to the Bulgarian border. Although the engineer had not recorded that type of music before his classical voice and piano training allowed him to visualise exactly what we wanted. The band laid down the backing tracks and then Katerina and me put the vocals over the top live, so as to keep it fresh and immediate as jazz should be. The vocals were completed in four long sessions aided by the necessary local spirit Rakia. The result was ! fairly good and the album was played extensively on radio. This resulted in us being approached to appear on a TV special which featured the whole album. Subsequently this was seen on TV on a number of occasions. Seccundo was a different affair and a quantum leap from Intro. Firstly our engineer had 'got into' the genre and not only written some arrangements but new tunes as well, while adding his own instrumental ability to the mix.
