En surveillant le repaire de l'Aigle, Bernardo est surpris de voir le Sergent Garcia quitter la ville avec la plupart de ses hommes, et que ceci semble être un signal pour de nombreux étrangers qui convergent vers la demeure de Varga. Il essaye d'en savoir plus, mais les portes et les fenêtres sont closes, et il court prévenir Don Diego. Diego tente de prévenir son père du danger, mais les hommes de Varga sont plus rapides et les arrêtent. Ils sont emprisonnés dans la cave de la maison de l'Aigle, pendant que Varga et ses hommes capturent les quelques soldats qui restaient à la caserne et le Sergent Garcia, revenu en ville au mauvais moment. Bientôt, le drapeau de l'Aigle flotte sur la ville. L'Aigle veut l'argent que Kolinko lui a promis, mais celui-ci refuse de le lui donner tant que les patriotes de Don Alejandro sont encore en liberté. Varga menace alors Don Alejandro pour obtenir la liste, mais celui-ci refuse, préférant mourir que trahir. C'est ce moment q! ue Diego choisit pour proposer à Varga de lui amener la liste, au grand désespoir de son père. Une fois revenu à l'hacienda, Diego échappe à ses gardes avec la liste, et prend l'apparence de Zorro. Il retourne en ville libérer les prisonniers, qui se battent contre l'Aigle et ses partisans jusqu'à l'arrivée des patriotes, prévenus par Diego. L'Aigle est tué par un de ses hommes, et meurt dans son drapeau. Le drapeau espagnol flotte vite sur les toits de la ville, et Don Alejandro présente ses excuses à son fils ...

The recording took place in the mountains of Macedonia close to the Bulgarian border. Although the engineer had not recorded that type of music before his classical voice and piano training allowed him to visualise exactly what we wanted. The band laid down the backing tracks and then Katerina and me put the vocals over the top live, so as to keep it fresh and immediate as jazz should be. The vocals were completed in four long sessions aided by the necessary local spirit Rakia. The result was ! fairly good and the album was played extensively on radio. This resulted in us being approached to appear on a TV special which featured the whole album. Subsequently this was seen on TV on a number of occasions. Seccundo was a different affair and a quantum leap from Intro. Firstly our engineer had 'got into' the genre and not only written some arrangements but new tunes as well, while adding his own instrumental ability to the mix.
